THINGS TO DO

Apart from visiting the buildings of historic interest, the dramatic geological features and the sites of prehistoric man, there are a wealth of other things to do. There are two swimming lakes nearby as well as the river where there is fishing, swimming and canoeing. The local small towns of Thenon, Le Lardin and Terrasson all have old fashioned and interesting market days. The larger towns like Brive and Perigueux are full of historic interest, good shopping opportunities and a more lively evening scene.
